It's located on a ridge between the towns of Pine Mountain and Warm Springs. It has beautiful

viewpoints and accommodations. FDR used to go there, and to the warm pools, and his

Warm Pools now empty

One of the park employees at the pools was a lady in her 70s. She appears in a mural photo

in the museum as a little girl with FDR. She was still wearing braces in 2008 due to her childhood polio.
